I create vivid colorful oil and acrylic paintings, which integrate images from meditation, intuition, imagination, and nature. The bones and feathers that come off the the canvas were collected in nature walks and treks in Sonoma and Marin Counties, and in France, Corsica, and the San Juan Islands.
I share with you my delight of color, love of bones, “bright shining as the sun”, feathers, laughter and wonder at the beauty of this world and those unseen. The profane and sacred twirl together with humor and play. The Shaman Mask paintings are portals to other realities. I invite you to dance with me in awe of the Universe, eyes twinkling.
